Timeless Manhattan Elegance

The Pool in NYC is one of the most iconic wedding venues. It’s got iconic architecture and elevated glamour that’d make your wedding a one-of-a-kind celebration. The Pool is located inside the landmark Seagram Building and was originally designed by Philip Johnson in 1959. If you seek a sophisticated contemporary venue for your big day, The Pool is a great choice.

Architecture That Makes a Statement

Step into space with 20-foot ceilings, travertine floors, shimmering metallic chain curtains, and a central marble water feature. The Pool was restored in 2016 to highlight these design elements and bring out the full depth of its mid-century aesthetic. For couples who want all their wedding photographs to feel curated and editorial, this venue is quite a choice.

Flexible Event Design & Flow

The Pool accommodates a variety of wedding sizes and layouts. It can host seated events for up to 150 guests, or standing receptions for 300. If you combine it with its partner space The Grill, you can reach capacities of 300 seated and 650 standing. This flexibility means your design, timeline and vibe can all feel tailored and not at all constrained.

Besides, the guest experience is going to be marvelous. After all, The Pool is operated by the hospitality powerhouse Major Food Group. Expect expert catering and refine service that people will rave even about long after the wedding.

Photographers Love the Pool’s Magic

As the team at Dave Robbins Photography, we find The Pool provides ideal conditions for striking portraits and dynamic editorial sequences. The interplay of water reflections and grand geometry create a visual story that flows naturally across your wedding day.

The Pool offers a canvas that’s both refined and expressive. It’s timeless and luxurious, and smoothly blends into the wedding photographs.
